Collins Ink Corporation

Water based inks

An authorised HP distribution partner for over three years, Collins Ink is one of a few ink companies being furnished NEW 45A cartridges into which Collins brand inks are filled. Collins has developed many specialty inks for the direct mail market. Collins Ink provides spot color matching capability in both Kodak Versamark and HP type inks. New bulk systems (Bulk Supply Stations) are available for providing HP inks for large users at lower costs.

Solvent inks

Collins has also established significant business supplying water-based, oil-based and solvent-based inks to printers utilizing Xaar® and Spectra® drop on demand printheads. Solvent-based inkjet inks are also supplied to customers using Domino® and Videojet® CIJ technology.

All Fannon "LightSpeed" ink-jet drying systems utilise Fannon's patented, energy efficient "Goldenrod" infrared lamps. Their infrared lamps incorporate a 24K gold reflector that directs and focuses virtually 100% of the infrared energy where it is needed, at the paper.

Kodak

Water based Continuous Inkjet

IJPS have many years experience looking after Kodak's Versamark range of narrow bar inkjet printers and systems. Kodak manufacture a wide range of inkjet printers including the 1" Dijit 5120 with 120 dpi resolution, the 1" Dijit 5240 with 240 dpi and the 2" Dijit 5122 with 120 dpi resolution. Please contact us for samples or simply send us your stock and we will print samples for you.

All units can run up to 1000 feet per minute with variable print resolution.

Printers are available as stand alone units or with system controllers. System controllers can be configured to control multiple printers with MPI interface and have read image capabilities for printing selectively from the barcode readers, cameras etc.
